Do recipients need to set up a Sign.net account?

Recipients are not required to create a Sign.net account to view or sign a document.


Recipients will receive the notification to sign a document via their email. They do not need to set up a Sign.net account. By clicking on the email notification for signing, they will be brought directly onto the Sign.net platform where they can then create a signature and sign the document.


Will recipients receive a copy of document in PDF?


All recipients will receive a copy of the completed documents (<6MB in size) via email, regardless of whether they have a Sign.net account.


For documents larger than 6MB in size, recipients will need to create a Sign.net account to download the document. This is to ensure delivery of email.
